i keep wanting to draw mustang/hawkeye but stopping myself because THEY MUSTNT so pretty much this is all i can do
In the US, “Smarties” is a chalky, tart, stackable candy that comes in little plastic wrappers. (This candy is called “Rockets” north of the border.) In Canada, Smarties are candy-coated chocolates - sort of like unlabeled M&Ms that come in dark blue boxes.
why he fuck are you calling rockets smarties though
how is it that one of the few times i get invested in the “likely to be canon het ship” for a fandom it’s the one fandom where the majority of the fanwork produced is romantic readings of the (heavily hinted in a platonic way) father/daughter main dynamic
like seriously how did i manage that

I SAW THIS GIF OF EREN AND THIS WAS LITERALLY ALL I COULD THINK OF
the Harry Potter ship chart:
1) the canon ships done in a completely different way then canon (am I still mad about Ginny not getting the screentime she deserved in either the books or the movies? yes) excepting most of the bs that the epilogue tossed out there (am I still mad about Luna? yes)
2) I guess any ship or friendship if you build it up in an honest and believable way?
3) that’s it that’s the chart

Hagrid was raised by a single father who was kind and good to him. He was taller than his father by age six- too large to be a human child and too small to be a giant.
his father loved him, and that’s all that really mattered.
Hagrid was accepted into Hogwarts and sorted into Gryffindor and was so excited to get the chance to become a full fledged wizard.
he wasn’t popular by far. he would have been three or four times taller than his classmates, but he didn’t mind. he found a young acromantula and, knowing that other people would label it a monster and try to kill it, he raised it and kept it safe. Aragog became really important to Hagrid and could even talk to him! Aragog was as much his friend as his pet.
Rubeus Hagrid was thirteen when his father died
months later Aragog and him were framed for the murder of Myrtle and only one person believed him when he said he didn’t do it
everyone (except dear Dumbledore) believe handsome, smart, model student Tom Riddle over awkward, weird, half-giant Rubeus.
he was a child being accused of murder and he risked everything he could in order to save his friend from being killed under a false charge
shortly after he was expelled from Hogwarts and had his wand snapped- he was going to lose the only place he could call home
and while it was happening he felt relieved that his father was dead because that way he didn’t have to see this happen
and the only reason Hagrid wasn’t cast out onto the streets was because Dumbledore pulled every string he could so that Hagrid- who was barely even in his teens- could stay at Hogwarts as the groundskeeper
and- even though he lost the chance to get a full wizarding education, even though he was now reviled by his peers- he was so extraordinarily happy because someone showed him kindness! someone saw a child in trouble and they helped!
then years later Hagrid passed this kindness on to Harry- another child caught in the middle of two worlds- and gave him one of the happiest moments of his life
and like if you don’t think this is all the most heartbreaking shit you’ve ever heard then you should really get out of my face
