Look, here is the private epilogue I had to make up for myself to keep myself from weeping endless tender tears over Pale Fire:They stay on the run for like twenty years until Karkat is a dashing older gentleman with gray temples and a cane that turns into a scythe and then Kanaya is like Oh For Fuck’s Sake and turns him and he’s like ‘WOW MY KNEES FEEL GREAT NOW’ and she’s like ‘Damn Straight’ and then like three hundred years after THAT they stumble across war-torn hardboiled generalissimo rebel princess Feferi and she’s like )(oly s)(ip )(ow are you two still alive? and then they go have an awesome rebellion and overthrow the Condesce and Feferi and Kanaya make out a lot.
And they all live forever ever after.
I love Pale Fire so much, and I need this on my blog!

So, after [Cheshire] goes rogue from the Light in the act of saving Artemis somehow, I want her and Red Biceps to rent an apartment together. They both see themselves as outcasts from society, but are like “fuck if I’m going to pay $700 a month w/o utilities.” They make a pact to leave their work outside the door (because Jade still kinda does what she wants!) and thus become odd-couple roommates with hilarious cohabitation hijinx. Like, she keeps stealing his eggs even though HE CLEARLY LABELS THEM, JADE, by drawing a red sharpie arrow on every egg. She drinks from the milk carton, too, and sometimes she puts peanut butter on his bedroom’s doorknob. And then he gets back at her by “accidentally” using bleach when he’s doing her costume laundry (he always does their laundry). And when she’s like “WTF SPEEDY! CHESHIRE DOESN’T WEAR CELEDON,” he just shouts, “IT’S RED ARROWWWWW!!!” And like, they still battle each other on rooftops, but then they come home and and order takeout and veg out on the couch watching horror movies. AND THEY STILL REALLY WANT TO BANG.
